Another view on hurricane response

Dear Editor:

Politicians are so good at diverting blame, resources, funds and attention. Next time a hurricane makes landfall, a levy breaks and causes massive flooding, I think we should airlift politicians and start dropping them into the gap to see if they can divert water. Please start with Dizzy “Yeeeeaaaghh” Dean.

P.S. Maybe the news media should start reporting the news after it happens instead of making dumb-ass predictions and misleading reports.

Aspen rugby returns home after long absence, routs Vail on Wagner


Playing at home for the first time in nearly two years, the Gentlemen of Aspen Rugby Club overcame an apparent lack of size compared to the Vail side en route to a 49-14 win on Saturday at Wagner Park in downtown Aspen. Prior to hosting Vail, the Gents hadn’t played at home since Ruggerfest in the fall of 2019.
