Another reason to keep dogs off buses

Dear Editor:

After reading The Aspen Times editorial against allowing dogs on city buses, I felt the strongest argument against to have been overlooked.

Anyone riding a bus knows how easy it is to stumble, trip, and “encounter” fellow passengers. Those passengers, like any dog, may yelp to express their pain, however few instinctively bite in self-defense. To protect passengers and unwitting dogs from danger, leave dogs off buses.
