Andrew Anatole Fedorowsky

Aspen, CO Colorado

Andrew Anatole Fedorowsky was born to Anatole and Maria Fedorowsky in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Dec. 12, 1955.

He died peacefully in his sleep on May 8, 2010 in Missoula, Mont. Andy moved to Aspen in 1977 and married Julia Breslin of New York; they had two wonderful children together, Andrea and Serge.

Andy had strong Russian roots. Both of his grandfathers served in the Russian military, one as an admiral and the other as a guard in the household of the Emperor Nicholas II.

Andy worked construction up and down the Roaring Fork Valley. He was an excellent house painter, a master Scrabble player and history buff, enjoyed mathematics and loved his ever-present chocolate.

He was an absolute charmer and if you knew him, you could not help but love him.

Thankfully, in the summer of 2009 Andy accepted eternal salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ and chose to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

In the fall of 2009, Andy moved to Missoula, Mont.

He is survived by his children, Andrea and Serge of Paonia, Colo.; two brothers, Serge and Allan; and his mother, Maria Fedorowsky of Hartford, Conn.

His ashes are being sent to his mother for services in Hartford.

A memorial service is scheduled Saturday, May 15 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Sonlight Four Square Church located on County Road 132, also known as Mitchell Creek Road, in Glenwood Springs.
