An unconvincing argument

Does Sue Gray REALLY think any of us believe she cares one wit about the Iraqi people?

Last September, she authored a memorable letter about how her efforts to avoid war were the only way to “save the Iraqis from death and destruction.” Now, many mass graves and torture chambers later, she’s complaining that the water and electricity aren’t running well enough!

So decades of mass murder, brutality and oppression are acceptable, but a few weeks of blackouts, that’s where she draws the line. This war was a dumb idea, but anyone who honestly thinks that the Iraqis are worse off now than they were under Hussein deserves to join him in his bunker.
