An opinionated slur |

An opinionated slur

Despite the many important and germane issues worthy of discussion locally, the editors of The Aspen Times saw fit to print an unsubstantiated, vitriolic and slanderous letter from Barney Wycoff published March 19.

If someone can write opinionated slurs, which could damage the reputation of any decent person, and expect a newspaper editor to print it, then something is terribly wrong. One could expect the same from The National Enquirer, but why our local newspaper?

We suggest that the editors of The Aspen Times re-evaluate their priorities within this community.
