An offseason top 10

Dear Editor:Ten reasons to be in Aspen for the offseason:1. You get to try new restaurants because your favorite one is closed.2. You learn how to cook because your favorite restaurant is closed.3. Who needs a movie theater – isn’t the book version always better?4. You can find a parking spot any time of the day or night.5. You got your money’s worth of that expensive ski parka you purchased at the beginning of the season.6. It’s nice to know there are still winter storm warnings in the spring.7. You are the first to greet the bears coming out of hibernation.8. You become an expert on-line shopper.9. Who needs the Aspen Airport when the Eagle/Vail airport has a Costco nearby? Finally …10. You are here for an election that you don’t actually get to vote in.Eleanor MeyerAspen
