An Aspen ghetto
Dear Editor:
I drove by this particular employee housing Sunday, located at Stillwater and Fabi Loop, just off Highway 82 on the east side of town. Have you seen it lately? Well, you should.
The development is a mess. Almost every unit has more junk, toys, old furniture and crap on its porch and hanging from the eves than I have seen in pictures from the poorest parts of Appalachia.
Aren’t there rules in these developments? If so, why aren’t they being enforced?
The topper is a ragged, faded and torn U.S. flag hanging on the front porch of the last unit in the Loop. Real nice.
