Ahhh, spring in Aspen
Aspen, CO Colorado

ASPEN – Snow pelted downtown Aspen for much of Monday morning, giving way to sunshine by early afternoon.
Elsewhere, snow and multiple accidents forced closures on Interstate 70 at Copper Mountain and Vail Pass, but the interstate was open through the Colorado mountains by early Monday afternoon.
Snow and rain early Monday followed a weekend of blustery weather, particularly on Saturday, when windblown dust darkened skies in the Roaring Fork Valley by late in the afternoon.
Milder weather dominates the forecast for the rest of this week. Tuesday’s forecast calls for clearing skies and highs in the 50s. Wednesday will bring mostly sunny skies and highs in the 60s, according to the National Weather Service. Partly cloudy skies are expected Thursday with highs of 65 to 75; mostly sunny skies are in the forecast Friday with highs in the 70s, the weather service said.
