Afghanistan a failure

Dear Editor:

This situation between the Pentagon and the White House is a real farce!

Gen. Stanley McCrystal obviously belongs in the Special Forces/Black Ops fraternity, where one has a little more freedom in chosen actions. His comments, and those of his unit members, were unfortunate in the light of his position, and theirs, under the “public” direction of the president of U.S.

We need to get out of there – Afghanistan will not be ruled, nor has it ever been subjugated, in any democratic way. The U.S. blundering around the world as a so-called hegemonist is about to end. Let’s get global – economically, politically, socially, in all ways. That’s the future flow – we have to go with it, or else …
