The MOLLIE Standard Cocktail competition returns

The bi-annual MOLLIE Standard Cocktail competition is back for another round from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, June 15, bringing together Aspen’s premier hotels and their talented mixologists on the rooftop terrace. DJ Blake Get Back Here will be setting the vibe. One of the highlights is the People’s Choice awards.
Attendees sample each entry before voting and cheering on the mixologists. A panel of expert judges will also weigh in, selecting their top pick for Judge’s Favorite award. Winners will receive exciting prizes, the stewardship of the Golden Cocktail Shaker trophy, and bragging rights as the creators of Aspen’s Best Summer Cocktail.

Daily free Aspen Mountain walks
Aspen Mountain walks are running daily on the hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The walks opened up on June 14 and will continue through the 2025 summer until the end of August.
It’s an opportunity to explore the top of Aspen Mountain’s Richmond Ridge on a guided tour with an Aspen Center for Environmental Studies naturalist observing wildflowers, wildlife, and mining history, among other topics. The meeting place is between the Silver Queen Gondola and the Sundeck. It’s important to load onto the gondola at least 20 minutes before the tour.
Gondola tickets are available for purchase at any Aspen/Snowmass ticket office. The tour walks about a mile and runs approximately 45 minutes long. It’s a leisurely, easy hiking pace. No reservations are required. For more information, please visit aspennature.org/activity/aspen-mountain-walk/
Changemaker Series: David McLain on Longevity

The Changemaker Speaker Series at the Wheeler Opera House presents David McLain: “Blue Zones Kitchen: Unlocking the Secrets of Longevity” at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 17. This captivating talk dives into the globally inspired cookbook filled with recipes designed to help people live to 100 — and feel good doing it.
McLain, a Maine-based National Geographic photographer, and Dan Buettner, his partner, have traveled the world’s Blue Zones to meet centenarians and learn how they stay healthy and active. The series is a touring program of thought leaders who are actively exploring the planet and engaging communities in creating a better tomorrow. The event is located at the Wheeler Opera House, 320 E. Hyman Ave.
Sunset Sounds: Tommy the Animal at MOLLIE Aspen
Sunset Sounds: Tommy the Animal is set to play from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, on the rooftop of MOLLIE Aspen. Their dynamic four-piece band will be delivering vintage rock and roll infused with a modern twist — the perfect soundtrack for a gold-hour summer evening. Tickets are required due to the limited space. Tickets are $30 for the public and complimentary for hotel guests to attend this high-energy event under the stars.
Midweek movie fun for kids at AF Isis Theatre
Take a break with cool classics and new favorites in the Kids’ Summer Films series every Wednesday from June 18 to Aug. 20 at AF Isis Theatre.

2025 Epicurean Passport fire relief benefit at Hotel Jerome

The 2025 Epicurean Passport Weekend is set to begin with a gathering in the Garden at the iconic Hotel Jerome to benefit fire relief efforts from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, June 19.
Set against Aspen’s alpine backdrop, the event pays tribute to the bold culinary culture and resilient spirit of Los Angeles, with a portion of the proceeds going to support Los Angeles’ fire relief efforts in partnership with World Central Kitchen. The event will showcase renowned chefs, including Chef Ludo Lefebvre (Petit Trois, Chez Maggy), Chef Dave Beran of Seline, Alinea, Mattia Agazzi (Gucci Osteria Beverly Hills), and Neal Fraser (Redbird), who will present a dynamic array of refined dishes, complemented by curated music, seasonal cocktails, and thoughtful wine pairings.
Tickets are $115 per ticket. The fundraising event is located at 330 East Main St.
‘Clue’-immersive walking mystery tour in Aspen

The Wheeler presents “Clue: A Walking Mystery Tour — Aspen Edition” beginning Tuesday through Saturday, June 19 through July 12. This classic whodunit, allows you to step into an immersive experience, with a group size of your choice. The immersion experience won “Best Immersive Experience” in Chicago.
The tour begins every half-hour, starting at 12:30 p.m. It’s already sold out for June 19. Tickets are $38 per person, with group rates. The tour begins at The Vault, The Wheeler Opera House, 302 E. 2025 Food and Wine Classic Weekend set for Aspen
