Ads for millionaires

Dear Editor:

I hate the advertising for real estate. I know papers need ads to make money, but who are they trying to advertise these millionaire homes for? Maybe I am just in the wrong circles, or maybe it is because I’m a 21-year-old working man, but who do you know that can afford that multimillion dollar lot advertised by Mason and Morse, Janet Mitchell or the countless other money grubbing real estate firms everyday?

Even the $500,000 dollar ads are useless to me. Everyday I read the paper, I want to vomit thinking of how many times I’ve seen an ad for a home neither myself nor my friends will ever buy without winning the lottery.

I thought these were local papers, giving news to the people who live here. Shouldn’t the ads be the same?
