Adios, in verse
Dear Editor:
The past eight years have been a disaster
I only wish it would have gone faster,
We have seen some changes, most of them bad
Decisions were made and we have been had,
This country was once a nation so great
Who would have known, there would be so much hate.
Hate towards a man who lied to us all
And left us with nothing, but our backs against the wall.
Mission accomplished, what a crock of shit
You and your team have dug a huge pit.
The failure down south after the flood
People still homeless sleeping in mud.
The lowest job growth rate since WW II
Unemployment sky high thanks to you and your crew.
Our national debt is so hard to swallow
It’s sad that our grandchildren will have this to follow.
The bailouts to me seemed rather funny
I would just love to know, Where’s all the money?
We now have a chance to make this country great
And I pray for us all that it is not to late.
The past is behind us and the future is now
Obama has spoken, please take your bow.
So much more to be said but I’ll let you off the hook
Maybe G.W. will tell us in his book.
With this last line our ties we must sever
And say adios to the worst president ever.
