Adam Frisch will not run for Aspen mayor
Staff report
Aspen City Councilman Adam Frisch said Friday that he has ruled out running for mayor in May’s election, but he is still weighing options in defending his council seat.
Frisch’s seat as well as the seats of Mayor Steve Skadron and Councilman Dwayne Romero are set to expire in June 2015. Frisch said he thinks Skadron “has been doing a great job,” and “he’ll be tough to beat.” Frisch added that there is a mutual respect, though they don’t always agree on issues.
“We’re jelling well up there,” Frisch said.
