Adam and Adam married – again
Trish Adam and Kurt Adam, both of Aspen, have the pleasure of announcing their remarriage.
On Dec. 27, 2008, new wedding vows were taken. A small group of friends gathered for the stand-up-only ceremony at Christ Episcopal Church in Aspen.
The church was undergoing a complete renovation at the time, therefore not allowing for any seating during the ceremony. Witnesses were the bride and groom’s son and daughter-in-law, Karl and Vanessa Adam, both of Aspen, as well.
A dinner reception followed in the Wheeler Room at the Hotel Jerome. The couple is planning a honeymoon sailing in French Polynesia.
Trish and Kurt moved to Aspen 26 years ago. Kurt is a banker, having been president of the Bank of Aspen before it was bought by Norwest/Wells Fargo. Presently he is a regional president for Community Banks of Colorado, overseeing 11 branches on the Western Slope.
Trish has worked a variety of part-time and seasonal jobs in Aspen and Snowmass Village. She continuously volunteers for numerous valley organizations. She has been working as a real estate broker for the past eight years.
Their first marriage took place in Madison, Wis., in 1972. They had 30 years together before divorcing. After being apart for six years, they decided that they really were meant to be together “till death do us part.”
