ACRA accepting board nominations

There are six seats up for election on the Aspen Chamber Resort Association board of directors this spring.The chamber is accepting nominations through March 18 for the seats that represent the restaurant, retail, small lodging, service, nonprofit and professional business sectors. Chamber President Hana Pevny said interested chamber members can pick up a list of other members from ACRA until March 18. In order to be a candidate, the nominees must get signatures from a minimum of 10 percent of the chamber members in their own category.The entire chamber membership is mailed ballots for the election on April 2. Pevny said the two-year term on the board will run from May 1, 2005, through April 30, 2007.”We’re the largest nonprofit in Aspen – this is a great leadership opportunity for people who want to get involved,” Pevny said.
