A yes for library plan

What I don’t understand is that opposition to building a new library in Basalt occurred so late in the process. Steps to choose a site have been going on for four years, and at meetings open to all the citizens.

I feel that the El Jebel site, along with keeping the current library open, is the most cost-effective way to ensure great library access for the citizens of the library district.

I hope voters will not allow themselves to be misled by this late-appearing group.

If this vote is defeated, it could be several years, if ever, before a new library suited to the needs of the public will be built.

I urge every voter to vote yes.
