A touching event
July 25, 2009
I do not know whose hands I squeezed on either side of me as Jeannie Walla sang for us survivors last Saturday. I don’t know the countless volunteers to thank. I don’t know the lady who gave out pink roses on the survivor’s stage. I don’t know how a block-long line of dogs with pink bandanas were so sociable and peaceful.
What I do know is that I want to thank everyone involved in this year’s Race for the Cure. In my 36 years of living here, this event truly touched my heart. Thank you, Aspen.
