A simple case of blackmail?

Dear Editor:I think everyone is missing the Scooter Libby point. The reason for the commutation is simple. Scooter, after going through this process as a loyal Dick Cheney solider, when faced with prison, said, “If I have to go to prison I’m not going alone. I’ve done my job covering for everyone involved. Get me out or I open my mouth.” Blackmail, pure and simple. If you can come up with a better reason why the president commuted his sentence tell me. I don’t think there is one.Larry RosenfieldAspen
