A sight to behold
Dear Editor:
At noon on a blue-sky day, walk along Castle Creek Road beyond the Aspen Chapel; then climb the cross-country trail behind Whitcomb Terrace. Look at the gold and orange of turning oak leaves and the yellows of cottonwood and aspen, glowing against the dark pines of Shadow Mountain; all black-lighted at noon by our September sun.

Aspen City Council puts breaks on Old Powerhouse Preservation Project
With many lingering questions still surrounding the fate of Aspen’s historic Old Powerhouse, City Council decided during Monday’s work session to hold off on providing staff direction on moving the preservation project forward until more information can be presented.
