A sick attitude
I was appalled by Joel Stonington’s article in Monday’s Aspen Times (“Sick skiing,” Jan. 7).
Good for you for getting out there for the epic powder, even with shivers, dizziness and nausea. But I think it is shockingly brazen for you to infect everyone unlucky enough to end up on the same gondola car with you … then BRAG about it!
If you are going to go ski when you are sick, ride the chairlifts, where you are less likely to infect innocent bystanders.
Start a dialogue, stay on topic and be civil.
If you don't follow the rules, your comment may be deleted.
Many members of the community wrote to laud the former Skico executive and city councilman for his friendship, dedication to family and community-minded spirit over more than two decades in Aspen.
