A salute to Pathfinders
Dear Editor:
I wish to acknowledge Pathfinders for all the exceptional work it provides cancer patients and survivors in our valley. Executive Director Liz Means goes the extra mile in supporting cancer patients in need. Knowing cancer treatments often rob the patient of energy, appetite and strength; Liz recently offered nutritious cooking classes and beauty sessions to help everyone feel better and look fabulous!
Many thanks to Chef Martin Oswald of Pyramid Bistro for an educational cooking class and tasting of highly dense nutritious foods and the methods to assimilate these into our daily diet. Kudos also goes to the CosSpa for providing ladies beauty days. My gal extraordinaire Shelley rocked and the goodie bag was over the top!
On behalf of all you have reached out to help, thank you!
Janet Ferrara

WineInk: January Dreams
Perhaps it’s because we are in the abbreviated days of winter and I instinctively know that the sun is shining down-under. But every January I go through a nostalgic period where Australian wine dominates my mind.
