A rockin’ Cinco de Mayo

Hurray for the Basalt Elementary School’s P.I.E. (Parents Involved in Education) group for a rocking Cinco de Mayo celebration at the school Wednesday evening! The tamales and enchiladas were outstanding and the student dancers from Aspen Santa Fe Ballet’s Folklorico program were amazing (even my 3-year-old son loved them!). Many thanks to all the parents, teachers and administration for making the evening happen – it made me proud to be part of the Basalt Elementary School family.
