A resource for all

Dear Editor:I could not do my job without the extensive archives and the knowledge of Anna Lookabill and Sarah Oates at the Aspen Historical Society. There I find a myriad of well-cataloged photos to accompany the news from the pages of past editions of The Aspen Times. As I work in the archives several mornings a month, I am always amazed at the number of visits by historians and authors of the West, or out-of-town families simply trying to track down information about a long-gone relative who settled in Aspen. The Aspen Historical Society is a fabulous resource for our community, but I think few realize how important a resource it is for national and even international scholars. It is so important that our rich heritage continue to be available and accessible to all. Please vote YES on 5D, 5E and 5F.Sara GartonAspen
