A prom to remember
May 6, 2002
On behalf of the Aspen High School Prom Committee, we would like to thank the many people involved with the enormous success of the 2002 Moonlight Masquerade Junior-Senior Prom.
First and foremost, our prom would not have been possible without the generosity and support of the Aspen Skiing Co. Carolyn Barabe, Steve Sewell and Peter Olsen contributed greatly to the running of the gondola – even in adverse conditions – and the use of the Sundeck.
We would also like to thank the local businesses whose support was essential. Thanks to Shae at Sashae in Aspen for the beautiful flowers, Eldorado for keeping us hydrated, and Alpine Party Rental for the supplies and equipment.
A big thanks to the local band, Network, for the unparalleled live entertainment. You made our prom a special one. To Mike Nakagawa, you did a great job as our DJ, and we wish you continued success.
Thanks to our class sponsors Kirk Gregory and Linda Lafferty. You helped bring our plans to life. To all the chaperones that attended, we hope that you enjoyed yourself. To Nancy Roach, our prom coordinator, your help obviously meant a lot to us.
Junior class: Even if you weren’t on prom committee, your help with the fundraisers was awesome.

Another huge thank you to the prom moms and dads. Your baked goods and donated time were greatly appreciated. We’d especially like to thank Miles Stotts, Kathy LeMieux-Rodman, Joy Christian, and Kate Braistead for their time.
Without the support of those mentioned above, our most memorable prom would not have been possible.
Thank you everyone.
