A new requirement?

Dear Editor:I have been following the angst of the Aspen community over the change in ownership of the Explore bookstore. It seemed to start with the difference in reporting between the Aspen Daily News, who reported the “good” news that the Wyly family had purchased the business and intended to maintain the bookstore, and The Aspen Times, who reported the “bad” news that the business had been sold to – horror of horrors, a REPUBLICAN!I was not aware that political affiliation was a criterion for buying property in Aspen. Will we next see the City Council debating that only Democrats be allowed to buy property in the city?Marion FoxLa Jolla, Calif., and Aspen
