A new idea for Iraq

Dear Editor:I believe we are in the last war, fought with words and ideas for the hearts and minds of people. The first rule of war is: “Above all else, do no harm.” Here are my ideas for the war in Iraq:1. Move the government of Iraq to undisclosed locations, along with their families, where they shall govern via television (possibly separately in trains or airplanes to changing locations).2. Ask the U.N. countries to supply secret training sanctuaries to train Iraqi fighting (for peace) personnel in various U.N. countries.3. Encourage the Iraqi government to introduce a procedure whereby each Iraqi may choose to identify themselves and receive an identification card with a personal computer chip in it to activate voting machines. Each automatic voting machine would produce a paper receipt, without the voter’s identification, for the voter showing the voter’s choice; if the information is correct, the voter would place the receipt in a sealed ballot box. These receipts to be counted at the end of the election to verify the voting machines totals.4. The Iraqi personal identification would be used by the Iraqi government to share the Iraqi wealth with each Iraqi citizen from age 18 through life. When this procedure is operational, we shall bring our troops home.Eloise IlgenCarbondale
