A moving evening
On Wednesday evening, Sept. 11, at the end of a strange and sad day, a standing-room only audience at the Aspen Community Church was treated to a moving and exquisitely beautiful concert and meditations led by a group of superb local musicians and thinkers.
The program lasted three hours, but it was so seamlessly arranged that I never wished it were shorter. Every song, every presentation was a surprise gift.
Thank you to all the performers who shared their hearts and spirits with us that night. And to all the people in the audience for showing up and creating a community of humans focused on peace and goodwill during the unsettling times in which we all find ourselves.
