A mountain-town taste of the Great American Beer Festival
Jeanne McGovern/The Aspen Times |
My mission was simple: taste beers from nine mountain-town breweries serving up their best suds at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver.
But with nearly 800 breweries from across the country pouring 3,900 different beers over three days, Oct. 6 to 8, it was easy to get distracted. But it was also more than easy to gather some tasty fodder for this installment of a Week in the Life … of beer. Cheers!

Colorado public health: ID not required to receive COVID-19 vaccine
The directive is aimed at ensuring non-citizens and others who might not have an ID are included in the vaccination drive. Ignoring it could cause medical facilities and local health agencies to lose access to vaccines.
