A mother of an event

Dear Editor:The Aspen Mother Pucker women’s hockey team held its first Monster Ball fundraiser at the Aspen Eagles Club. We had a wonderful time and we’d like to thank everyone who participated in making this fundraiser a huge success. The Aspen Mother Puckers is a nonprofit adult women’s hockey team. It was started in 1974 and continues to provide the local women with a place to play hockey with their peers. The Mother Puckers welcomes all local women who have an interest in competitive hockey on a state level. To check out our upcoming home game schedule go to: AspenMotherPuckers.com. All home games are played at the Aspen Ice Garden located at 233 West Hyman Ave., in downtown Aspen. A big thanks to our Monster Ball sponsors: All Valley Women’s Care, Brunelleschi’s Pizza, La Cantina, Clark’s Market, The Grog Shop, Hickory House, KSNO, Matsuhisa, Of Grape & Grain, Orrison Distributing, Paradise Bakery, Tim Carney with National Republic Dist., Smoke Modern BBQ, Village Market in Snowmass, and Zane’s Tavern Thanks to the Eagles Club of Aspen, Al the bartender, and the entire Eagles staff and board, who were helpful in making this fundraiser possible.
