A memorable Memorial Day

Dear Editor:

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barth, of Snowmass Village, made my 2008 Memorial Day in Grand Junction, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1247, most memorable, educational and alive, as we paid “homage through our collective sacred trust.”

The Barths and their fellow U.S. military veterans at VFW Post 1247 are very super-stimulated minds who should form a think tank leading to new capital formation, new inventiveness, new modern industries, new exciting business/cultural expressions and a better educated work force in Grand Junction. They kept my mind stimulated to entertain new ideas and synthesize old ideas for new uses and new variations.

The Math and Science Center in Grand Junction will benefit from great association with VFW Post 1247.

Thank you, U.S. military veterans Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barth and VFW Post 1247.

Support Local Journalism

Only providence knows how long I will be in Grand Junction, but the city is part of Colorado Congressional District 3, as are Snowmass Village and Aspen. Just remember that, Aspen and Snowmass Village.
