A little too light

Dear Editor:I am appalled at the jail sentence (or lack of) in the Snowmass concert beating case (“Light sentence in Snowmass beating,” Feb. 6). One hundred and 50 days with all but 30 on work release is a joke.Judge Boyd has no sense of justice, and every case I read about that he is involved in he lightens, commutes or completely throws out any penalty or punishment. Work release for 120 out of 150 days is a joke. Ochoa nearly beats a guy to death and gets 30 days. WTF? I bet this isn’t the last act of senseless violence that occurs in our little hamlet, and Judge Boyd is making sure of that.Jeff LimongelliCarbondale
