A life saved

Dear Editor:

Valley Dog Rescue and Ursula want to thank the pet emergency hospital in Basalt (by Big O-Tires across from the Shell Station) for saving the life of an adorable beagle/wienerdog mix puppy named “Daisy.” Daisy was very sick.

I recommend this only emergency hospital for pets highly. They are open days and nights, after 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Countless valley dogs and cats are alive because of their expert care for injured and seriously ill pets. And folks – as you know – almost all medical pet emergency seems to happen after hours or on weekends.

Little Daisy was in the care of very able doctors and kind staff for four days and nights – and she lived!

Thank you, Dr. Scott Dolginow and his dedicated medical team! I am very grateful (and so is Daisy).
