A landlord who understands

Business in Aspen is in trouble and I was convinced that no change was possible until enough businesses left town to make change the only alternative. However I nearly fell out of my chair today when I received a letter from my landlord.

In this letter, David Baxter and Mill Street Venture LLC informed me that “BECAUSE OF THE TOUGH ECONOMIC CONDITIONS (THEY WILL) FORGO THE ANNUAL RENT INCREASE.”

This will be a significant assistance for us. It is regrettable that most commercial tenants in Aspen have landlords that seem impervious to high vacancy rates and interrupted lease payments. I will however say to my landlord, “Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.”
