A howling good time

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the Aspen Elementary School, and especially Donna Ward, for allowing me to run the First Annual Fraser Writing Contest.

Thanks to all the teachers who were incredibly supportive of this endeavor. I was absolutely amazed and delighted with the number of stories submitted.

Thanks to my fellow judges Mary Hayes and Carla Peltonen. We had the difficult task of choosing winners. All entries were honored and the real Fraser was present at the school assembly.

I can’t tell you what a joy it is to know that so many of our young children love to write. We are already looking forward to next year’s contest.
