A great time at camp

My name is Michael Holmes and I’m a freshman basketball player for Aspen High School.

This summer I went to the Aspen Basketball Academy Basketball Camp. I learned a lot of skills that are helping my game. The camp was really fun, but it was also very intense. Kids from all over the country came.

The camp was directed by Kevin Pritchard, who just won an ABA Championship for the Kansas City Knights. They had a lot of cool speakers like Robert Tomocheck, a former Aspen High graduate who plays for Texas Tech. The head basketball coach for the Rams and the head coach from UNLV were there. The coaches and staff were great!

I know coach Ketchum did a lot to make this camp happen, and I know a lot of others were involved, too. Alpine Bank, Hotel Jerome, Hickory House and The Mother Lode were sponsors of the camp.

I just want to thank everyone who made this camp possible. I am already looking forward to next year.
