A great football season
Dear Editor:
This is a big thank you to The Aspen Elks Lodge #224, Keith Bulicz with the Aspen Rec. Dept., Blair Elliott and the crew at the Parks Dept, Jon Maletz with The Aspen Times, David Bach at KSPN, Aspen High Athletic Director Carol Sams, Ron Morehead for many years of service and commitment to the program, all the volunteer coaches and Michael Turchin for his loyalty to these children.
I have a son, Pierce Cintron, who knew nothing about football last year and is now enjoying, learning and growing with his teammates and having fun. Thank you for allowing every kid opportunities and support with this program.

Aspen City Council approves new tenant contract for Wheeler Opera House gallery
Aspen City Council approved a contract with Daniel Joseph (DJ) Watkins during Tuesday’s regular meeting to move forward with his intentions to operate his proposed “Aspen Collective,” which is currently occupied by Mia Valley’s Valley Fine Art.
