A friend in need

Dear Editor:

I would like the friends of Leslie Pagett, Aspen covergirl promoting sports beauty and health in the ’70s and ’80s, to know Leslie has been living in Los Angeles for the past three years, since leaving Aspen in January 2007. Leslie misses her friends in Aspen and Hawaii and has lost all communication with anybody from her horseback, skiing, bicycle riding, music, fashion, and art gallery days. Someone must be alive somewhere.

I would like to reach out to the Aspen locals and see who is still here for Leslie. She has a large photo collection to someday be published, along with a story under research yet to be written. Perhaps some of Leslie’s friends are here in Los Angeles and would visit her, or even contact Leslie from anywhere else on the planet. Phone (323)937-4856 and ask for Leslie.

You can also send a letter to Leslie Pagett c/o me, Max Andy Kalik. I lived in Aspen from the late ’60s through the ’70s. 2800 Neilson Way #108 Santa Monica, CA 90405 or e-mail: kalikmax@yahoo.com

Sometime soon, I will write and film some new adventures to that underground classic ’70s series of stories about: Honest Al, Acid Racer, Black Flash and Ute City, “FORTUNE FAVORS THE BRAVE, a skiers guide to racing the americas.”

Some of the original characters are still alive, most are dead, some names might not have to be changed. Best of all will be the new secret stories that were behind the scenes outside of Colorado and America, the ones that made the headlines all around the world.

Max Kalik

Santa Monica, Calif.
