A flunking grade

Dear Editor:

In her bid for election to the Aspen School Board, Sandra Peirce has touted herself as the “homework candidate” who thoroughly understands the ins and outs of the school district’s operation.

Really? I guess she missed the civics lesson about term limits that her husband conveniently ignored, which effectively robbed others of the opportunity to serve the community. (See Aspen Times article from August 18, 2011 – “Term limits force Aspen school board member out of race”)

I think I’d have to give her an “F” on being the “homework candidate.”
