A few questions

Dear Editor:

Granted I don’t live in Aspen, but working here five nights a week I believe I can ask a few things.

Recently the City Council turned down the new Entrance into Aspen. I just want to know this from EACH council member ” Why? Because maybe it will make Aspen a little easier to get in and out of?

Next, housing ” still we have no major plans for our future generations to afford here. Unless the city of Aspen sees the future generations as the preschoolers, who don’t have to pay. What about the working class that is under 30 years old? You don’t want me living in the streets do you? Can we build something, somewhere around here so we can keep wiping the behinds of your millionaire tax payers?

And last, if you really think that Aspen is historic and a pristine place to live, why on earth would you fill it with Starbucks, Gucci and every other tidy-widy business while you let the real historic buildings and local business’s crumble and be bought out?

Just food for thought City Council, I doubt you even will read this, but if you do, please let me know what your answers are. And by the way, many of you need to get more fiber in your diets, the grande latte enemas are not too healthy for you. And if we can, lets make a city initiative to get some air fresheners placed around town because you’re starting to stink up the place.
