A different world

Dear Editor:What a beautiful act of generosity by Dan and Lynne Levinson, to support Dasha, the 14-year-old pianist from the Ukraine (“Festival Focus,” June 25.) An inspiring story of talent, accomplishment (including fluency in six languages), and courage, and of giving and sharing.I couldn’t help but notice in the same issue, in contrast to Dasha’s mom’s “salary of $90 per month,” nearly a million Americans pay $40 to $60 per hour to personal trainers for their children!Sharon DeQuineAspen
