A carnival of thanks
Dear Editor:
Basalt Recreation would like to thank everyone who made Basalt’s annual Halloween Carnival a success.
This carnival helps support youth groups in our community and promotes a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween. Thank you to the youth organizations involved: BHS Choir, Kids to Europe, BES PIE, Boy Scouts of Basalt, Blue Lake Preschool, Revolutions Skating Club, BHS Cheerleaders, Lady Longhorns, BHS Key Club and BMS Boston Trip. Thanks to all the trick-or-treaters who came out to support these groups. Special thanks to my friends, Pam Shilling and Maurine Fitzpatrick, for their help.
We are honored to be able to support these wonderful organizations!
