A bright future

Dear Editor:

I’ve just visited Aspen-Snowmass for my nephew, Walker Moriarty’s, graduation from Aspen High School. Your citizens should be proud to extend to the world these fine young people.

I’m sure each of you has impacted them in some positive way. I’m convinced they, too, will have a profound effect on our society in all manners of human experience. I’ve visited Snowmass for almost 30 years.

This year the economic spanking our great country has been taking was evident. Take heart, there are multitudes of wrenching situations in your communities that we will never see or hear of.

Keep guiding, mentoring, teaching, parenting, coaching, healing and giving to our world these valuable young people you have created for the good of us all. Job well done, Aspen-Snowmass citizens. The best is yet to come! Chin up, chest out!
