A blow to Basalt

Dear Editor:

I’ll try and sum up my feelings in a few sentences.

Roderick O’Connor was treated unfairly by the town and press, to put it mildly!

Basalt is feeling the loss of his presence, as he is one of the most caring, kind, compassionate and intelligent community leaders one could ask for.

Basalt’s a sad place without his presence, as he’s the cohesive force behind our town and makes us feel stable and safe.
