’48 Hours’ to air segment on missing Grand Junction woman

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. ” The story of a Grand Junction mother who disappeared almost a year ago will be featured on a national news program Tuesday.
Paige Birgfeld was last seen in Eagle on June 28, 2007, when she drove there for a meeting. Police learned two days later that she never returned to Grand Junction.
The CBS news program “48 Hours” plans to air an hour-long segment about Birgfeld and her disappearance on June 10 ” called “The Secret Life of Paige Birgfeld.”
Authorities have said the mother of three children was a Pampered Chef consultant who led a secret life as an exotic dancer and escort.
Lester Ralph Jones has been named a suspect in Birgfeld’s disappearance, but he has not been arrested.
