ASPEN – An Indiana family purchased a $3.3 million home in the Woody Creek area in a home auction on Tuesday, the second-most expensive house sold in the neighborhood since January 2011.

According to Grand Estates Auction Co., the auction generated more than 200 inquiries, 63 previews and 13 registered bidders from the United States, United Kingdom and the Caribbean.

The new owners, who live in Indiana, plan to use the property as a second home and hope to close within the next 10 days.

The 32-acre estate features 2,400 spruce trees, and the roaring Woody Creek running through the property is fully fenced and gated.
