23-year-old woman found dead near Ouray hiking trail

MONTROSE — A 23-year-old Ouray (yoo-RAY’) woman has been found dead near a hiking trail after she was reported missing the night before.
Police say the body of Zina Lahr was found Thursday about 300 feet above the Perimeter Trail.
Investigators told The Montrose Daily Press she apparently fell and that no foul play is suspected.
She was reported missing Wednesday night when she didn’t return to the home.
Police Chief Justin Perry says Lahr was well-known and loved in the small mountain town.
