The Aspen Golf Course is set to address a comprehensive overview of improvements to its newly formed pass-and-tee-time structure, as well as give a preview of the upcoming season, and answer any questions by the city’s golf professionals, according to a Monday news release.
The meeting is slated for 5:30-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in the Aspen City Council Chambers at City Hall, 427 Rio Grande Plaza.
“We are thrilled about the upcoming golf season and the exciting changes we have in store,” Aspen Golf Club General Manager Jim Pratt said. “This meeting is a fantastic opportunity for our golf community to engage, learn about the pass schedule updates and provide insight for how we plan future seasons. Your voices matter, and we look forward to a successful and enjoyable season together.”
Before passes go on sale in February, it’s important that residents who live in the Roaring Fork Valley register to secure a pass. The Aspen Golf Club is currently accepting applications for proof of primary residency in the Roaring Fork Valley. Registration is required prior to purchasing a pass. Primary residents will have this opportunity until 5 p.m., Jan. 31. Golf passes for verified primary residents will go on sale beginning at noon on Feb. 16 and end on Feb. 19.
