100+ Women make a big difference

Dear Editor:

Alpine Legal Services expresses its deep gratitude to the Roaring Fork Valley’s 100+ Women group.

This group of local women is interested in supporting our local community in the Roaring Fork Valley area through philanthropy. They come from all walks of life and varying financial backgrounds. As individuals, they felt that it was challenging to make a meaningful impact in our community, but as a group, they have the ability to contribute to the growth and well-being of our community and have an impact that we can see in our community.

Earlier this year, Alpine Legal Services was the grateful recipient of these funds, which help us fulfill our mission of ensuring access to justice by providing and coordinating quality legal services that protect and advance fundamental legal rights. For more information on our work, please visit our website

The mission of the 100+ Women is to reach out and help our community by finding at least 100 or more women, who will come together four times a year to give a donation to a local nonprofit. All charities and organizations up for consideration must be in the Roaring Fork Valley area. The idea is to keep it local and have an impact that we can see in our community.
