Mountain Mayhem: Summer days

When the calendar flips from August to September, I can’t help but recite lyrics from the opening song from Grease.

“Summer days drifting away to oh oh the summer nights.”

There’s a sense of nostalgia as the seasons change and everyone goes “back to school,” so to speak (which in this day and age has an entirely different meaning given the virtual status of many classrooms).

Looking back on summertime in Aspen, I feel fortunate to have taken part in many an outdoor adventure — from fly fishing to trail running to mountain biking to road riding to picnicking and stand-up paddleboarding. Several of which are evidenced here through few photos from this past season.
