The Opera Gallery is opening a two-woman exhibition on Saturday, showcasing works by Olivia Daane and Kinga Czerska.

Their dual show, “Connections,” will open with a reception running from 4 to 6 p.m.

Daane — an Aspen-based artist, gallerist and entrepreneur — will be showcasing paintings and fashion pieces from her long-running “Butterfly Effect” project. Among her items are “Callicore Sensor” paintings of butterflies that Daane has printed on 100 cashmere scarves, with 10 percent of proceeds from the scarf sales going to the local addiction recovery services nonprofit A Way Out.

Her paintings include depictions of Monarch butterflies, inspired by Daane’s concern for the dwindling population of Monarchs and other pollinators.
